Bio: Dan, for whatever reason, has given me the nickname of "Dirty Hippie." It apparently has some connection to a time, long since past, when I had long hair. Perhaps surprisingly, neither Dan nor Jamy knew me as anything other than a square with short hair. When I shared this colorful moniker with those who actually knew me during my freak-flag-flying days, I was told that it didn’t really apply. It seems, that I was neither dirty nor hippie enough to qualify for the title. Alas, I was seemingly more of an iconoclastic poli-sci/theater guy. You get the picture. (And apparently that is the only picture you will get because my handlers have effectively cleansed the public record of all actual photos taken during those many years.)

Now, I am virtually an erstwhile world traveler, vicariously living out my dreams of daring do through blogs. Sad, I know, but I had to grow up some time and get a couple more letters behind my name. Perhaps some day in the future my law firm will open an office in Havana and I will be able to spread the American Dream in a more exotic locale. Meanwhile, I toil in the anonymity that comes with the clean-cut look.

You can read more about me at www.catlaw.com. Now that I think about it, there’s no picture of me on the site, either. Maybe I’m more of a man of mystery than I thought…
